This meeting will be held in a hybrid in-person and virtual format. In accordance with Section 8.1 of Procedure By-law # 8081-24, Members of Council may choose to attend in-person or participate virtually.

 

In accordance with Procedure By-law # 8081-24, Closed Meeting Policy G 040, and the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 239 (3.1) parts of this meeting are being held for the purpose of educating or training members and may be closed to the public. No decisions shall be made or considered regarding this matter.

 

In accordance with Procedure By-law # 8081-24, Closed Meeting Policy G 040, and the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 239 (2)(e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board, (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, and (k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board, parts of this meeting may be closed to the public.

  • Recommendation:

  • Recommendation:

    That leave be granted to introduce a by-law and to dispense with the reading of the by-law by the Clerk to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Town of Whitby at its special meeting held on September 23, 2024 and the same be considered read and passed and that the Mayor and the Clerk sign the same and the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
